The SL 63 Motorsport Collectors Edition is a less prestigious vehicle than the others. So it uses the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 585 hp and 800 Nm of torque.
Mercedes-AMG presented a special model of the SL63 4MATIC+ at the end of the 2022 Formula 1 season. It reflects the appearance of the Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E PERFORMANCE racing car. The color gradient from high-tech silver metal to obsidian black metal is inspired by high-class motorsport models.

The AMG aerodynamics package does not only dramatize the appearance: larger lips on the front and rear platforms, the larger rear diffuser and the active underbody profile improve the aerodynamic properties. The same applies to downforce and drag. All this favors high-speed handling characteristics and improved efficiency.
The AMG Night Pack and the AMG Night II Pack enhance the appearance of the Motorsport Collectors Edition. With the AMG Night package, several exterior elements are finished in high-gloss black: front splitter, rocker panels, mirror caps and trim panel on the rear diffuser. Added to that are the blacked out gas lines.
The AMG Night II package adds further elements in black chrome, including the radiator grille, typography and the Mercedes star at the rear. In addition, the inner parts of the headlights and taillights are darkened.
The brake calipers in the AMG high-performance composite brake system are painted black. The AMG tank cap in silver chrome with "AMG" lettering also underlines the special position of the edition.
The standard AMG performance seats are available in two upholstery versions: in black nappa leather/MICROCUT microfiber with red stitching and embossed AMG emblem on the headrest or in black nappa leather/MICROCUT microfiber with yellow stitching and embossed AMG emblem on the headrest. The AMG performance steering wheel with carbon rim can be heated to match the AMG carbon trim.
The high-end Burmester® 3D surround sound system, ambient lighting, MBUX interior assistant, driver assistance package and head-up display are standard equipment on this very comprehensively equipped special model. AMG TRACK PACE provides support with numerous data when driving on the circuit.
